I am glad you liked it! Thank you for telling me you loved it. Your comment put a smile on my face!
I am plotting the beginning of the next story. The brothers went through a lot of trauma, and will need each other's help to recover.
I won't be able to start writing it for at least a week. My grandsons birthdays are coming up soon. They will be turning 4 and 5 years old soon and I am writing a couple of flip books for them. Because I am using their names in these books, I won't be including them on the Grandsons' Page. Instead I plan on emailing the books to them.

I am so glad you are enjoying this story! I have several pages written of the next chapter, tentatively titled Death and Destruction. If real life doesn't interfere too much, I hope to have it out by next weekend. I also have 4 stories to which I have laid the groundwork in Rooting Out Evil.

I knew it!!! I was pretty sure I knew who the killer was, but loved the twist. This was a great chapter, well worth the wait.

Thank you for the comment! I have several more chapters of this story left to write, but I am developing ideas for the next three stories. One involves the ladies in Ely. Another involves the dead calves, and I can't tell you about the third story because it will give away the ending to this one.

I am so glad that you are enjoying it. I have started working on the next chapter. In this chapter, tentatively titled, Placing the Puzzle Pieces on the Table, Chris, Buck, and Vin join the search party, Nathan talks with Angie, Mary and Billy interact with the brothers, while Waldo plans. I won't get an opportunity to work on it today, of course, but I hope to work on it this weekend.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Well, I finished "Homecoming" and anxious for more. How you can write so much is beyond me...literally. I still can't make up my mind who killed who and why. Maybe I should make a diagram. Some are obvious, but others aren't. Started this on "archive of our own" but was ecstatic when I found your posting was further ahead on your own page. Keep up the good work!

When I first started writing Rooting Out Evil, I had planned for the murderer to be Curtis, but my son changed my mind. I am outlining the next chapter this morning, and I hope I can start working on it later today.
